EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon Track Club Elite, a post-collegiate training group of professional track and field athletes based in Eugene, is pleased to announce a new partnership with Oregon Imaging Center (OIC), a full-service diagnostic medical imaging facility that has been serving the local community for more than 25 years.
The partnership will allow OTC Elite athletes immediate access to the wide range of services provided by OIC, which will enable quick and accurate analyses and treatment plans, a critical resource in maintaining and regaining optimal health in an ongoing effort to achieve peak performance.
“We’re couldn’t be happier to work with Oregon Imaging Center,” OTC Elite Coach Mark Rowland said. “You never want injured athletes, of course, but when that inevitably does occur, this new partnership will be vital in speeding up the process to help get our athletes back to running.”
Besides providing a full array of scans, MRIs, ultrasounds and x-rays, the locally owned and operated OIC specializes in therapeutic and regenerative solutions for a broad range of musculoskeletal disorders.
“OIC is immensely proud and excited about our partnership with OTC Elite,” OIC spokesperson Jennifer Cantu said. “Mobility and function are priorities not exclusive to world-class athletes, and our goal at OIC is to provide the same high level of care to all that we serve.”
With the 2019 World Championships in Doha, the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and Oregon21 all coming up in the next three years, OTC Elite is confident this will be the start of a long-term partnership with OIC that will help the team achieve its goals on the global stage.
